With base our apartment you can visit all the museums and memorials, traditional
villages and beautiful places such as the 600m away, Ai Giannis beach where you
can make sea sports and other sea activities. For those who prefer mountains all
the internal island is ideal for cycling, walk among the pinewoods and the beauteous
views of beaches.

Ai Gianni - Mili - Gira Beaches
Ai Giannis Bay is one of the best wind-serf place of the Greece.
All the area is ideal for fishing, swimming and other sport
activities such as beach-volley. |

Cultural & Religious Tourism
At the entrance of the island you will find two big castles. The Turkish
castle of Griva or Teke and the Enetic castle of Santa Maura. Archaeological
places sculling around the island but the most important are at
Kaligoni (where was the ancient city Nirikos) and at Nidri (where was
an ancient settlement - The Homer Ithaca by Dailpferd archaeologist).
Lots of churches and monasteries are all around the town of
Lefkada and the island with most Phaneromeni's Monastery.
Museums you can visit are the Archaeological museum, The Folklore museum
of "Orpheus" cultural union, Phonograph Museum, The Elomenio
Folklore museum, the Museum of Needlework Art, the Lefkada's Library
and Painting, the Charamoglio's Library and the History Archive of
Lefkada.
The 35 years old famous annual Folklore Festival and the
"Speech and Art" Festivities include dances from all around
the world, concerts, theatrical acts, and Lectures. |

Ecotourism
The two big lagoons of the city are the biggest ecosystem of
the island.
Supreme places for walk are Dimossari canyon and the Waterfalls
near Rachi village, the canyon of Melissa (bee) near Cavalos village
where you will find ten water mills, the aesthetic laurel-wood near
Sivros village and pine-woods and oak-woods all around the island.
Lots of caves and sea caves -most of them never scouted- with
most important the sea caves of Papanikolis and Demonas in Meganissi
island and the caves of Chirospilia near Evgiros Village and
Asvospilia near Frini village. |

| Agro tourism - Mountain Tourism
Basically in the central mountain island but also in North-Western
island placed the most traditional settlements with unadulterated habitudes,
unaffected of the tourism.
Festivals take place in most of the villages all year round
with most notable the habit of Lefkas marriage every August at Karia
village where you can bye excellent needle works all hand made.
